About

Hi there!

“I really take the cake” is my baking blog. Most of the time I’ll show you what I bake. I love baking, but cooking, travelling and taking photos also means a lot to me – So you will find that in my blog, too. Since February 2011, this blog is a bilingual blog and you can read all the entrys in German, too.

I’m from Vienna, Austria – The little things that happen in my life is what I write about in this blog, too. If you’re interested, read it, if not, just take a look at the recipes. ;-)

I’m always glad to get suggestions and comments – So if you want to tell me anything, just klick on the “Leave a Comment”-button you can find in every post.

You can also write me an e-mail: ireallytakethecake@hotmail.com
Have fun!

    Hi Stephanie!

I love your chocolate muffins!!

Where can I find the recipe for those cinnamon star biscuits? I have been searching for years. My mother used to make them and has lost the recipe. They are not the thin crisp stars but the thicker cake like stars. Please help!!!!!!

Hi Stephanie, I love how you have made this blog bilingual. That is something I would love to do but I’ve only been living in Linz for 5 years and I’m afriad it would be a right mess und viellicht lustig if translated some of my recipes auf Deutsch ;)
    liebe grüße aus Linz.
