Snow. Candles. Biscuits.

It’s the first Sunday in Advent. It’s snowing in Vienna. It’s time for Christmas Biscuits.

So, Mum and I made some. Actually, a lot. Those are Chocolate Pudding Crescents. They are made with chocolate pudding powder. They’re tasty.

I really like to shape them – Every single crescent has to be beautiful!

Then, those beautiful little pieces of dough get baked.

And as you can see above, we then dunked them in White Chocolate.

We also made our absolutely yummy Cinnamon Stars.

You have to put the glaze on them before baking them. It’s a lot of work, but it’s totally worth it. Then you bake them.

Those cinnamon stars taste awesome. They really do. (We also made them in last year’s baking orgy. They are so great I couldn’t wait to make them again. Recipe? In the recipe index!)

And then, we tried a totally different new recipe I found. Those biscuits get piped.

And then, we have Poppy Seed Biscuits.

At first, they tasted kind of funny. But I like them!
As they don’t have a lot of sugar in them, we put them in their own powdered sugar bath.

By the way, I also looked as if had bathed in powdered sugar today. Because it’s snowing in Vienna!

This is just perfect for the first Sunday of Advent.

Have a lovely Advent! (And watch the blog – Christmas time is my time of the year!)
