The Cat’s Pyjamas.

Just to let you know I’m still alive:

– I’m not baking at the moment because my stomache is kind of angry with me (I don’t know why, but half a day of blood tests and other examinations will hopefully let me know.)
– Also, I’m studying instead of baking. Yay, it’s exam time. Who isn’t exited about that?
– I found the expression “the cat’s pyjamas” today, and it’s awesome.

My cat is the cat’s pyjamas at sleeping the whole day.

It’s definitely time for soup.

When I look out of the window, I see white. When I look at my thermometer, I see it’s -8°C outside. That means, it’s definitely time for soup.

For example, pumpkin soup.

It’s so easy to make. Just chop some onions and a Hokkaido pumpkin.

Last week…

…I got on a plane with Mum.

We went to London.

See you, Vienna.

Mum and I are leaving. Tomorrow. We are leaving behind the men in our family for a 4-day-trip to London. Yay!
But Mum made them something tasty before. While I was at university and writing a test, she made Linzer Augen (Linzer Eyes).

Vanilla White.

Vienna’s white. Still. It doesn’t stop being white. What’s also white? Vanilla crescents.

Vanilla crescrents are Mum’s and my traditional biscuits.

Snow on the First

Today I woke up and I realized that it was snowing. It’s still snowing in Vienna. A lot. There was snow on my window sill.

What’s lying there in the snow?

Snow. Candles. Biscuits.

It’s the first Sunday in Advent. It’s snowing in Vienna. It’s time for Christmas Biscuits.

So, Mum and I made some. Actually, a lot. Those are Chocolate Pudding Crescents. They are made with chocolate pudding powder. They’re tasty.
